Over the past few weeks we've been working hard on making a new release of CritiMon which we're excited to announce is now available. For this new release, we're providing a couple of special coupon codes to give you an extra 50% for the first 3 months, that means you can get the small plan for a little over £2.49 for the first 3 months, then go to £4.99, which is still 50% off the full price once we come out of beta.

First thing we changed was we've updated the overall design of the site based on the feedback that we had. This includes removing the red menu and re-designed the footer and make some improvements to the landing page. If you have any feedback then please let us know, we'll always want to hear from our users.

Now on to the main release of CritiMon. We've made some small and subtle improvements to the layout and fix a couple of bugs that were identified. The main noticeable change is when you view the crash group details.

Crash Group Details

We've made the page full width of the page, instead of it being centred to provide more space and easier to read on the crash details. We've also increased the height on the charts again to make it easier, and removed the black background from the charts. We've also changed the timescales selection on the charts, so instead of each chart being independently controlled, there is now a global timescale button between 1 day, 7 days and a month that updates both charts together.

The biggest update, is that we've now added support for 2 more official libraries, which are Python and Ruby. This brings the full list of officially supported libraries to 7 which are as follows:

  • Android (Java and Kotlin)
  • C# (.Net Framework and .Net Core)
  • C++
  • Javascript
  • PHP
  • Python
  • Ruby

And of course there is the crash API you can use to send crashes from custom programming languages and platforms which are not officially supported.

We've also changed the onboarding flow slightly as well. We've removed the requirement for needing to submit payment details straight away when signing up to a paid plan. Instead, you sign up, and receive a 14 day trial. 3 days before the trial ends, you'll receive a notification at which point you can provide your payment details if you wish, if not, then the account will be downgraded to a free plan. You can upgrade and downgrade plans at any time.

If you sign up or upgrade to paid plan you will automatically get 50% off for the lifetime of your subscription, but we also have an extra special offer.

If you sign up to a SMALL plan, the first 100 users can use coupon code SMALLPLAN_50 to give you a further 50% off.

If you sign up to a PRO plan, the first 100 users can use coupon code PROPLAN_50 to give you a further 50% off, so there's a chance for 200 users to get a further 50% off from the current 50%. The coupon codes 50% lasts 3 months, after which point you'll go to the current 50% off price for the lifetime of your subscription.

That means, if you use SMALLPLAN_50 for 3 months you'll be charged £2.49 for 3 months then £4.99 for the rest of the time your subscription lifetime.

If you use PROPLAN_50 for 3 months you'll be charged £4.99 for 3 months then $9.99 for the remaining time your subscription.

We really like you hope the changes we've made and we'll continue to update and make improvements based on the feedback that we have.
